Cristina Palacio, CEO and founder of Alibi Films is a film and television Executive Producer who has established herself in the industry by creating and producing different formats.

She has done so by developing new stories and adapting different genres (reality shows, gameshow, series and miniseries, sitcoms, docudramas, and film projects).

She is an expert in developing and producing original concepts for audiences in Latin America and Hispanics in the United States.

Her positions in the television sector include VP of Content and Production at Caracol Televisión, President of Be-TV Producciones, President of Shine for its Latin American division, and VP of Content and Production at RCN Televisión.

In addition to Alibi Films, Cristina has founded and chaired production companies such as Be-TV Producciones and Producciones 5y6.

She has produced different audiovisual formats, some of which have been very successful.

These include reality shows such as “Power Couple,” “Reto 4 Elementos”, “La Isla”, “MasterChef”, and series such as “El Cartel de los Sapos,” “Sin tetas no hay paraíso”,” Las muñecas de la mafia”, “Infiltrados” and “Ruta 35”.

Cristina was born in Bogotá. She studied Social Communication at the Javeriana University in Bogotá, and has a Master’s Degree in Information Sciences from The New School for Social Research in New York.
